Shompole Lodge was initially built as a philanthropic project in a bid to boost the economy in one of Kenya’s poorest communities. Constructed in several phases over many years, Bakuli Builds was employed as the permanent renovation and maintenance team.

Favourite celebrity retreat, with a global reputation. Sadly, the lodge was victim to a catastrophic fire in 2015.
